The previous record holder of this title was the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel of Dubai that has a total of 72 storey with 804 rooms. Gevora houses about 232 deluxe type rooms, 265 deluxe one-bed rooms and 31 suites with 2 bedrooms. The hotel houses a restaurant at the top of its roof providing you a wonderful view of the whole city.

It is also known as the Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Tower. The construction of this property started in the year 2004 which was then completed by the year 2018. The tower is used for both office and hotel. The Gevora Hotel has 3,859 stairs in total. Apart from being the tallest, the hotel also houses the highest pool in the whole world that is at twice the height of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Rooftop Infinity Pool.

However, the hotel doesn’t yet posses a license to serve liquor. This was a known move initiated by the general manager of the hotel who goes by the name Jairaj Gorsia.
